David J. Berhalter passed away on Saturday December 31, 2016 in Newfane Rehab and Helath Care Center. Born in Lockport on August 7, 1958, he was the son of the late Robert J. and Joanne Judge Berhalter. David worked as a bus driver for DNF Travel, Cheektowaga, NY.
David is survived by his siblings, Kevin (Andrea) Berhalter, Thomas (Susan) Berhalter, John Berhalter, Anne (Harold) Harper, Joanne (Jeffery) Chambers, Carol Gavner, Teresa Berhalter and the late James Berhalter; brother-in-law of Kathryn Berhalter. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Friends may call Wednesday January 4, 2016, 6-8 PM, in Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday morning at 10 AM in St. John the Baptist RC. Church, 168 Chestnut St., Lockport. Interment will be in Glenwood Cemetery. Memorials to a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
