BUFFALO — Western New York students are invited to attend Canisius for Kids from July 18-22. The 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. day camp promotes the use of creative-thinking skills.
Open to students in grades K-8, the camp pairs certified teachers trained in differentiated instruction with students looking for rich, engaging activities that integrate art, music and technology with math, science, history and language arts.
The majority of the camp activities take place at Science Hall but many also take place around the Buffalo area, including Niagara Falls. The camp is sponsored by Canisius College, and staffed by faculty and students of the college’s Differentiated Instruction Master’s Program.
The cost of the camp is $100 and includes all activities, any costs associated with field trips or special events, and a camp t-shirt.
