COLDEN — A 31-year-old Colden woman was charged Tuesday with driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop on State Route 240.

According to New York State Police, Julianne P. Wells was seen throwing refuse out of a 2009 Chevy Silverado and pulled over. She was then determined to be intoxicated and charged with aggravated DWI.

Wells was taken to the State Troopers barracks in Boston where she was found to have a .18 percent blood alcohol content. She was processed, released and ordered to appear in Town of Boston Court on Wednesday.
