PORTAGEVILLE — A 40-year-old Portageville man was arrested Tuesday on sex abuse charges, according to New York State Police.
John A. Wesner was charged by the Bureau of Criminal Investigations with second-degree course or sexual conduct against a child, second-degree sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child following a joint investigation with Allegany County Child Protective Services and the Allegany County District Attorney’s Office.
Wesner was processed and arraigned in the Town of Granger Courtand was remanded to the Allegany County Jail in lieu of $50,000 cash bail or $100,000 bond.
