Nicholas Benz left this world on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at the age of 50.
Nicholas grew up in Bergholz and attended Niagara-Wheatfield High School. For years, he was employed as a Mason and Concrete Worker for various firms in the Niagara Falls area. Nicholas was a gentle man and a lover of all animals.
Nicholas is survived by his father and mother, Bill and Sherry Benz; his special uncle, Jimmy Zetes; his brother Bill (Pamela) Benz of Atlanta, GA; his nephew, Colin Benz, his niece Caitlin Benz; his sister, Callie Benz of Portland, OR, as well as his cousins that he held near to his heart, Scott and Beth Henry of Cambria, NY. He was predeceased by his biological mother, Karen (Zetes) Benz.
Private services will be held at a later date. Because of his love for animals, memorial offerings in his name may be made to the Niagara County SPCA, 2100 Lockport Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14304.
