Mary Francis Trunzo, 92, of Youngstown, NY, passed away on November 14, 2023 at Niagara Hospice House in Lockport, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Krawczyk) Lozinsky.
Mary Francis was a 1948 graduate of Niagara Falls High School. She was a longtime member of the Lewiston Service Guild. Mary Francis enjoyed duckpin bowling, reading and entertaining. More than anything, she cherished the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.
The family would like to acknowledge Niagara Hospice and Mary Francis’ caregivers, Civa, Edith, Donna and Shana for the love and care shown to Mary Francis and the family.
Mary Francis is survived by her children, James (Carol) Trunzo, Robert (Kris) Trunzo, and Sharon (Jeff) Leibeck; her grandchildren, Gina, Sarah (Shon), Carrie, James, and Nick (Kayle); her great-grandchildren, Estrella, Daxton, James, Freya, Cora, Aeron and Emma, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mary Francis was predeceased by her husband, John P. Trunzo, on May 14, 2017, and her siblings, John (Mary) Lozinsky and James (Lois) Lozinsky.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 17 from 4 – 7 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY 14304. Mary Francis’ Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, November 18 at 10 AM at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, 218 Hinman Street, Youngstown, NY 14174.
