LOCKPORT — Niagara County District Attorney Brian D. Seaman announced that Jeffrey Sturdivant, age 43 of Niagara Falls, pled guilty to the class D felony of Grand Larceny in the Third Degree before Niagara County Court Judge John Ottaviano. Sturdivant admitted to stealing from an elderly woman for whom he worked as a home healthcare aid from 2019 to 2020. Sturdivant faces up to a year in jail when he returns for sentencing in January.

A confession of judgement in the amount of $347,971 will also be entered against him in the favor of the elderly victim’s heirs as the victim has since passed away.

The case against Sturdivant was prosecuted by Executive Assistant District Attorney Mary Jean Bowman and Assistant District Attorney Carrington Crossley.
