Roland L. Rosati, 92, of Lewiston, NY, passed away on November 6, 2023 at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. Born on June 6, 1931, he was the son of the late Americo and Lucy (Denitto) Rosati.
Roland attended local schools and was a 1949 graduate of Niagara Falls High School. He was employed as a Court Reporter for the State of New York Family Court in Niagara Falls, NY for 23 years, retiring in September 1990. Roland volunteered at Mount St. Mary’s Hospital and Niagara Hospice after retirement. He was an accomplished artist and loved living in Lewiston. More than anything else, Roland was deeply devoted to his family.
Roland is survived by a “Very Special Niece” Andrea M. Rosati, as well as his nephews, Robert L. (Cheryl) Rosati and William P. (Dianna) Rosati, Joseph A. Rosati, and nieces, Alison (Sheri) Rosati, Maria (Jim) Faso, and Patrice Rosati. He is also survived by loving great nieces, Thea Rosati Hohensee, Molly Mackenzie, Gabrielle Rosati, and Giana Rosati, and loving great nephews, Benjamin A. (Annita) Shultz, Alec (Sarah) Rosati Hohensee, and Robert (Barbara) Rosati; his great-great nieces, Lillian Shultz and Eden Rosati, as well as by several loving and caring friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his twin brother Robert S. Rosati, and his brothers Romeo Rosati, William P. Rosati Sr., and Joseph Rosati.
Per Roland’s wishes, there will be no prior visitation. Roland’s Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 10 at 10:30 AM at Holy Family Parish at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY 14301. Roland was cremated and will be inurned with his mother in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Holy Angels Mausoleum at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to a charity of one’s choice. Arrangements by M.J. Colucci & Son Niagara Funeral Chapel.
