On November 1, 2023, SP Ellicottville Troopers arrested Star L. Blanchard, 74, of Great Valley, NY for Driving While Intoxicated.
During a traffic stop on U.S. Route 219 in the town of Ellicottville, Troopers observed Blanchard exhibiting obvious signs of intoxication and determined she had been operating a motor vehicle while in an intoxicated condition. Blanchard failed standardized field sobriety tests at the scene. She was then arrested and transported to SP Ellicottville, where a chemical breath test revealed her to have a 0.17% BAC.
Blanchard was released with appearance tickets for Ellicottville Town Court, where she is due to appear later this month.
