LOCKPORT — Niagara County Sheriff Michael Filicetti announces the arrest of 47-year old, Enchantra S. Henderson, a visitor at the Niagara County Correctional Facility. Correction Officers intervened when they witnessed Henderson attempting to pass suspected narcotics to an incarcerated individual she was visiting.

Henderson was charged with one count of Promoting Prison Contraband in the second degree (A Misdemeanor). Henderson was given an appearance ticket for the Town of Lockport Court for formal arraignment. The suspected narcotics were sent to the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office Forensic lab for processing.

Sheriff Michael Filicetti stated, “My correctional staff did an excellent job detecting the contraband and stopping suspected narcotics from entering the facility. Without New York’s “Bail Reform” she would have gone from being a visitor to a guest, as she should have been. Her actions could have endangered the safe operation of our facility.”
