Kathleen A. Magliarditi, 73, of Lewiston, NY, passed away peacefully on September 4, 2023 at her residence under the care of Niagara Hospice. Born in North Tonawanda, NY, she was the daughter of the late John and Helen (Talandziewicz) Kijowski.
Kathleen earned her Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Niagara County Community College. In 1970, she married Frank Magliarditi at St. Joseph’s Church in North Tonawanda, NY. Kathleen worked in nursing at various local nursing homes and hospitals, retiring in 2012 as the Assistant Director of Nursing at Our Lady of Peace Health Care Facility in Lewiston, NY after 15 years of employment. She also ran Lindy’s Deli in the former Summit Park Mall. Kathleen enjoyed going to the casino. Above all, she cherished the time she spent with her family, and will be remembered most for her sweet and kind nature.
In addition to her husband of 53 years, Kathleen is survived by her children, Frank B. Magliarditi and Nicole Magliarditi; her grandson, Carmine Magliarditi; her brother, David (Maria) Kijowski, as well as by several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, John Kijowski.
