Gordon Davidson, 78, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed suddenly on Sunday, June 18, 2023. Born in Niagara Falls, he was the son of the late Lorris and Margaret (Gordon) Davidson and beloved husband of Roberta (Wolfe) Davidson, who he married on December 2, 1978 at Bacon Memorial Presbyterian Church.

After graduating from Trott Vocational School, Gordon enlisted into the United States Army until his honorable discharge in 1965. He began working at Greif Brothers for many years, and later worked at TAM Ceramics and Life Tech prior to retiring in 2014. He loved his family dearly, and especially enjoyed playing cards with his brothers. 

In addition to his wife, Gordon is survived by two daughters; Shannon (Robert) Bailey and Allison (David) Retzlaff; 9 grandchildren; Casey (Robert) Magaris, Desiree (Jimmy) Henson, Brandon Laughing, Erin Wilson, Patrick Thompson II, Nick Retzlaff, Alaina Bailey, Jenna Bailey, and Leah Bailey; siblings Larry (Ellen) Davidson, Warren (late Mary Lou) Davidson, James (Connie) Davidson, Jack (Chris) Davidson, Harry (Michelle) Davidson, Jeannie (Ted) Moore, Diane Davidson, and Cheryl Mardon-Davidson; as well as 7 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to his parents, Gordon is predeceased by siblings Alan, Kathy, and Ronald Davidson and his step-daughter, Kelly Anne Reynolds.

Visitation will be held Friday, June 23 from 4-7 PM at M.J. Colucci & Son Niagara Funeral Chapel, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14304, where a funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM.
