On June 17, 2023 at 12:15 am, Troopers out of SP Lockport arrested John P. Knope, 35 of Lockport, NY for Driving while Intoxicated and other traffic violations.
On June 17, 2023, Troopers responded to Tonawanda Creek Road in the town of Lockport for a property damage accident. While interviewing Knope, an odor of alcoholic beverage was present. Knope was placed under arrest after failing multiple SFSTs and transported to SP Lockport for processing. Knope refused to provide a chemical test.
Knope was issued traffic tickets returnable to the town of Lockport court for a later date in July 2023.
