Francis D. DeDomenico, 81, of Lewiston, NY, passed away peacefully in his sleep on February 25, 2023.  Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Frank and Louise (Galetta) DeDomenico.

Frank attended local schools and was a 1958 graduate of Trott Vocational High School.  In 1958, he began working as a Barber and Hairstylist, and was the proprietor of DeDomenico’s Haircuts in Niagara Falls since 1960.  He was a skilled barber, and took great pride and passion in his craft.  Francis proudly served in the United States Army from July 1962 until his honorable discharge in December 1962.  He was a member of the Niagara Frontier Bicycling Club and a member of White Oaks in St. Catherines, Ontario, where he enjoyed practicing yoga and spinning.  Aside from cycling and his great interest in health, wellness and nutrition, Frank enjoyed fishing.

Francis is survived by his wife, Paula (Lombardo) DeDomenico; his children, Frank (Rachel) DeDomenico and Cara (Jason) Pierini; his grandchildren Reagan and Zachary, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.  He was predeceased by his siblings, Rosamond L. Wolf and Peter (late Julie) DeDomenico.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 3 from 3 – 7 PM at M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 MILITARY ROAD, NIAGARA FALLS, NY 14304.  Francis’ Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 4 at 12 Noon at Holy Family Parish at St. Joseph Church, 1413 Pine Avenue, Niagara Falls, NY 14301 concluding with Military Honors.  Private interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY.  If desired, memorial offerings may be made to a charity of one’s choice.   Visit mjcoluccifuneralchapel.com for online condolences.
