Buffalo State’s Liv LeBaron (Corning/Corning East) was named the SUNYAC Women’s Basketball Player of the Week after leading the Bengals to a 77-71 victory over St. John Fisher last Tuesday.
The junior physical therapy major tallied her third double-double of the season with 28 points and 12 rebounds to lead Buffalo State to the win. She scored the Bengals’ final 11 points of the game as part of a 15-2 run to close the contest erasing a seven-point deficit and securing the victory. LeBaron also added five assists and five rebounds.
LeBaron and the Bengals will host Alfred State in a non-conference contest on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m.
