Buffalo State’s Sheldon Adams (Rochester/Bishop Kearney) was named the SUNYAC Men’s Basketball Player of the Week after leading the Bengals to a 94-89 road victory over St. John Fisher in non-conference action last Tuesday.
The sophomore psychology major scored a career-high 31 points in the Bengals’ only action of the week. Adams was 8 of 12 from the field, including 4 of 8 from 3-point range; he also finished 11 of 14 from the charity stripe. On top of his impressive offensive performance, Adams added five rebounds and three steals.
Adams and the Bengals return to the Sports Arena as they host Alfred State on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
