OSWEGO, N.Y.– Ali Shawish (Lackawanna/Lackawanna) tallied his fifth goal of the season to lift visiting Buffalo State to a 2-1 overtime victory over Oswego today in a SUNYAC contest.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Neither team found the scoresheet in the opening half, but Buffalo State pulled in front early in the second frame on August Finn‘s (High Falls, NY/Rondout Valley) first of the season in the 55th minute.
- Oswego knotted the game at 1-1, connecting on a corner kick in the 73rd minute that eventually forced overtime.
- Shawish ended the game just under four minutes into the extra session when he converted a feed from Theo Pencic (Oslo, Norway/Heltberg) for the game-winner.
- The Bengals finished with a 14-12 edge in shots, but Oswego had a 7-1 edge in corner kicks.
- Andreas Queen (Stone Ridge/Rondout Valley) finished with five saves in the victory.
FOR THE FOES
- RJ Nichol scored for the Lakers, and Brian Terra made five saves.
