CHESTER, P.A. — Buffalo State finally saw some nice weather as temperatures topped 80 degrees today at the Chester Quarry Classic at Widener University where the Bengals placed seventh of eight teams.

NOTABLES:
- Tianna Gillenwater (New Rochelle/New Rochelle) was a winner in the shot put to lead the Bengals with a winning mark of 11.91 meters.
- Cheila Diao (Latham/Shaker) also had a strong showing with a third-place finish in the hammer throw with a mark of 39.78 meters, and was fifth in the shot put (10.31m).
- Ronni Kordrupel (East Aurora/Iroquois) finished fourth in the 1,500-meter run (4:53.20) and sixth in the 800-meter run (2:19.65).
- Tashana Dixon (White Plains/Woodlands) and Ashley Lyons (Freeport/Freeport) were sixth (1:00.04) and seventh (1:00.25) respectively in the 400-meter dash.
