UNIVERSITY AT BUFFALO ATHLETICS


BUFFALO, N.Y. — The University at Buffalo women’s swimming and diving team placed 12 student-athletes on the Academic All-MAC team, as announced by the conference on Monday morning.

A total of 108 student-athletes were named to this year’s team with Eastern Michigan leading the conference, having 18 student-athletes receiving recognition.
The Bulls closed out their impressive 2018 campaign with an unbeaten dual meet regular season as they posted an 8-0 record overall and a 4-0 MAC mark. UB also took home third place at the MAC Championships for the second straight season, a program-best finish.

The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
