Jacquelyn S. Ritz passed away April 10, 2017 after a lengthy illness. Born in Lockport November 7, 1958 she is the daughter of Robert K. Covell and the late Maybelle M. (Wills) Covell.
Besides her father she is also survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Daniel Ritz; two children Angela (Ben) Litfin and Jason Ritz (Meghan Phipps); and three beloved grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sisters Sandy Heffernan, Sharon Hallatt, and Linda Culliver and is survived by her sister Melody James and brother Charles Specht. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews including her dear niece; Nicole James.
Jacquelyn worked for the University of Buffalo. She loved spending time with her family and she will be sadly missed.
Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
