Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz issued a challenge today via his personal X account and the county’s YouTube channel to Albany County Executive Dan McCoy over the upcoming National Lacrosse League championship between the Buffalo Bandits and the Albany Firewolves.
Poloncarz put up a case of Big Ditch Hayburner as his side of the wager. McCoy responded via his own X account and Albany County’s YouTube that they’d put up a case of Nine Pin Signature Cider for their end of the deal.
Buffalo will play Game 1 of the NLL Finals in Albany on Friday at 7 p.m. inside MVP Arena before coming home to Banditland on Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
