LITTLESTOWN, Pa. – The Niagara women’s golf team completed the Seahawk Invitational on Monday. The team carded a total two-round score of 673 (+97) and finished in eighth place.

“Today was a big improvement over yesterday,” said head coach Jason Polka. “The better golf today will help us build some momentum for next week.”

Selena Cerra led Niagara. She carded a two-round score of 162 (+18) to move up 11 spots from the first round and finish tied for 24th place.

Daniella Hopper finished in 41st place. She fired an 84 (+12) in round two for a two-day total of 172 (+28). Marissa Del Monaco shot a total of 174 (+30) and finished in 43rd place

Emily Doyle shaved 15 strokes off her round one score to card an 81 (+9) in round two. She tied for 45th place.

Sarah Godfrey tied with Doyle for 45th. She had a two-day total of 177 (+33).

The Purple Eagles compete next in the Navy Invitational in Annapolis, Md. Saturday and Sunday.
