BROCKPORT — Cody Sikora (N. Tonawanda/N. Tonawanda) was a double-winner, claiming the 400-meter dash and running a leg of the winning 4×400-meter relay to pace Buffalo State today at the Brockport Golden Eagle Invitational.

Sikora crossed first in the 400-meter dash with a time of 50.47 seconds and joined Robert Liebel (Tonawanda/Tonawanda), Jerome Willis (Brooklyn/Transit Tech), and Mohamed Kouyate (Bronx/Dreamyard Prep) to win the 4×400-meter relay in 3:26.09. Tre’Maine Moore (Rochester/Greece-Olympia) had a strong meet, winning the 60-meter dash (7.01), placing second in the 200-meter dash (23.40), and finishing fourth in the long jump (6.69m). Liebel scored in both the 200-meter dash, placing second (22.48), and fourth in the 60-meter dash (7.12). Darren Thompson (Buffalo/St. Joe’s) was runner-up in the 200-meter dash (22.97) and finished third in the 60-meter dash (7.11). Chris Duhaney (Hempstead/Uniondale) finished second in the 60-meter hurdles (8.74), followed by Osahon Odigie (Rosedale/Springfield Gardens) in third (8.81).
Kouyate was fourth in the 200-meter dash (23.30), Willis was fifth in the 400-meter dash (53.34), and Robert Alexis (Middletown/Middletown) was fifth in the triple jump (13.28m).

Buffalo State will return to the Brockport Special Events & Recreation Center next Friday and Saturday for the SUNYAC Indoor Championships.
