BUFFALO – Erie County Sheriff John C. Garcia announces the arrest of Jacob Schneider, 38, of Buffalo after a fight occurred on the ramp in front of the Buffalo and Erie County Public Central Library.

The victim did not fight back. Security broke up the fight moments later. The victim was transported to Buffalo General Medical Center for treatment. Schneider was charged with:

  • Robbery in the 3rd Degree
  • Assault in the 3rd Degree
  • Resisting Arrest

Schneider was transported to the Erie County Holding Center pending arraignment. The victim was subsequently detained on a warrant out of the State of Pennsylvania.
