ORCHARD PARK — Jacksonville hadn’t scored an opening-drive touchdown all year. In fact, they hadn’t scored one since the second week of last season.

They ended that streak today. Then the Buffalo Bills went three-and-out … twice. Maybe the Bills were suffering some sort of Thanksgiving lag. Or maybe they just needed a bit to get warmed up. But they eventually scored a touchdown as the first half neared an end.

Then Buffalo scored again on its first play of the second half — a 75-yard run by LeSean McCoy — and it was game on. McCoy had struggled the entire first half. In the end, he had 133 total yards from scrimmage, including 103 running. He also added another touchdown.

Sammy Watkins made his return to the field felt in the second half, too. He had 80 yards on three catches, including a 62-yard beauty from Tyrod Taylor.

Taylor also rushed for a touchdown, went 12-for-18 passing and netting 166 yards in the air, including a passing touchdown to Justin Hunter.

In all, the Buffalo Bills ended up with four touchdowns for the day for 28 points — to Jacksonville’s 21. The win puts the Bills at 6-5 for the season, returning them to above-.500 ball for the first time since Oct. 23.

The Bills next take on the Oakland Raiders in Oakland at 4:05 p.m. Dec. 4.
