OSWEGO — Bass Sarr’s (New York/JREC) penalty kick goal in the 75th minute lifted Buffalo State to a 2-1 SUNYAC victory this afternoon over host Oswego.

Buffalo State opened the scoring with the only tally of the opening half when August Finn (High Falls/Rondout Valley) netted his third goal of the season with an assist from Tristan Myers (Rochester/Webster Thomas).

The Lakers evened the score in the 59th minute. Sarr completed the scoring with his 10th goal in as many games played this season. The game was evenly contested with each team attempting 11 shots apiece, and Buffalo State holding a 7-5 edge in corner kicks. William Banahene (Rochester/Brighton) finished with four saves in the victory.

Buffalo State will visit Cortland Sunday at 1 p.m.
