ROCHESTER, Mich. — The Purple Eagles women’s golf team completed the Golden Grizzlies Invitational on Tuesday. The team finished in fifth place with a two-day, 36-hole total score of 685 (+109).

Emily Doyle led the Purple Eagles in the second round. She fired an 81 (+9) for a two-round total of 166 (+22). Doyle finished tied for 15th place.

Selena Cerra finished tied for 28th. She carded a 90 (+28) in the second round for a 36-hole total of 172 (+28). Daniella Hopper followed Cerra; she shot a two-day total of 175 (+31) and finished tied for 32nd place.

Rounding out the Niagara quintet were Sarah Godfrey and Marissa Del Monaco, who both shot 179 (+35) over two rounds and finished tied for 37th place.

The team competes next at the Roseann Schwartz Invitational in Youngstown, Ohio on Oct. 9-10.
