Julie A. Brounscheidel passed away suddenly September 4, 2016 in Eastern Niagara Hospital, Lockport. Born in Buffalo on June 9, 1964 she is the daughter of Mary (Farrell) Guindon and the late Robert Guindon. Julie served as past president of the PTA for DeWitt Clinton Elementary and North Park Middle School, was an active member at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, working on several committees and was also the developer of the Greater Niagara Spelling Bee. In her free time she enjoyed cooking and especially spending with her family.

Besides her mother Julie is also survived by her husband Timothy D. Brounscheidel of Lockport; children Peter R., Nicholas A., and Mary Anne Brounscheidel; sister of Theresa (Jeff) Leuppie of Trinity, FL and late James Guindon.

Relatives and friends may call Friday, Sept. 9th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, Sept. 10th at 10 AM in St. John the Baptist RC Church, 168 Chestnut St., Lockport.
