FARMINGDALE — Buffalo State turned up the pressure in the second half and netted the equalizer in the 63rd minute to earn a 1-1 draw against host Farmingdale State this morning in the final day of the Rams Classic.

Farmingdale struck first in the 28th minute for the only goal of the first half. The Bengals rallied in the second half, outshooting the Rams 9-2 in the period, and eventually broke through with a goal by Catherine Mammoser (Lackawanna/Eden) with an assist from Breanna Knight (Valley Stream/Valley Stream South). Neither team would score the rest of the way.  Farmingdale held a slight 4-3 edge in shots in the overtime periods, with the Bengals holding a 19-10 advantage for the game. Taylor Carillo (Pine Bush/Pine Bush) finished with four saves for the game.

Buffalo State will next play at the University of Rochester at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
