It’s Wine & Cheese weekend along the Niagara Wine Trail as participating wineries offer a pairing cheese with their wines, ciders and meads this Saturday and Sunday.

A $27 ticket buys your way in to any 10 of the participating wineries (listed below) and allows you to sample three beverages at each, along with a specially selected Yancey’s Fancy NY Artisan Cheese to go with each. Each paying visitor will also leave with a commemorative glass that they pick up at the first winery on their way.

Participating wineries and their selected cheeses include:

  • Arrowhead Spring Vineyards: Naturally Smoked Cheddar
  • A Gust of Sun Winery: Fresh Killer Dill
  • BlackBird Cider Works: Garlic Buffalo Wing Cheddar
  • Black Willow Winery: XXX-Sharp Cheddar – White (aged 18 months) 
  • Chateau Niagara Winery: Sharp Cheddar – White (aged 9 months)
  • Eveningside Vineyards: Smoked Gouda
  • Flight of Five Winery: Gouda
  • Freedom Run Winery: Chipotle & Habanero Cheddar
  • Honeymoon Trail Winery: Peppadew Cheddar
  • Lake Ontario Winery: Smoked Gouda with Bacon Cheese
  • Leonard Oakes Estate Winery: XXX-Sharp Cheddar – Yellow (aged 18 months)
  • Long Cliff Winery & Vineyards: Steakhouse Onion Cheddar 
  • Midnight Run Wine Cellars: Maple with Bacon Cheddar
  • Niagara Landing Wine Cellars: Garlic Buffalo Wing Cheddar
  • Salamaca Winery: Strawberry Chardonnay Cheddar .
  • Schulze Vineyards & Winery: Bergenost triple cream Norwegian Cheese
  • Schwenk Wine Cellars: Peppadew Cheddar
