FALCONER — A 29-year-old Kennedy man was charged this morning with unlawful possession of marijuana and fourth-degree criminal possession of marijauna following a traffic stop on South Work Street.

According to New York State Police, Brian Lowers was stopped for a traffic violation and found to have “a pipe containing burnt marijuana residue in plain sight” while Troopers were interviewing him. Subsequent investigation found him to have over 70 grams of marijuana, a jar containing a small amount of marijuana, a marijuana cigarette and two additional pipes containing marijuana residue.

Lowers was charged and released with appearance tickets directing him to appear in the Town of Ellicott Court later in the month.
