STOW — A Toledo, Ohio man was arrested this morning and charged by New York State Police following a traffic stop on I-86.

According to police, the man, identified as “Clayborne,” was pulled over for speeding and “subsequent investigation revealed that the vehicle he was driving was a rental, supposed to be returned to the company on March 9th, 2016.  As a result, the vehicle was reported stolen, verified by the Columbus Airport Police Department and Clayborne was placed under arrest.”

Clayborne was processed at SP Jamestown, arraigned in the Town of North Harmony Court and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $1,200 cash bail. He is scheduled to reappear in the Town of North Harmony Court in May.
