The Planets 360 @ Whitworth Ferguson Planetarium

January 5 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

The Planets 360 is a re-imagining of Gustav Holst’s The Planets orchestral suite. After its debut in 1918, Gustav Holst’s seven-movement orchestral suite became an international phenomenon. A hundred years later, this sonically driven immersive planetarium experience fuses art, music, and science to create a 360° spectacle. Included after The Planets will be music composed for and set to a time lapse video of the 2017 total solar eclipse.

Program length is one hour.

Please arrive at least 5 minutes before show time, because late arrivals may not be seated for safety reasons in our darkened planetarium.

If you are not already familiar with the location of the planetarium, please be sure to understand our location using the map here: Planetarium location in Google Maps

For our public programs, you will be able to park in the I-37 parking lot off of Iroquois Drive directly next to the Science and Math Complex which holds the planetarium.
