CANEADEA — A 39-year-old Pennsylvania man has died as the result of a one-vehicle crash on State Route 19 on Wednesday.

According to New York State Police, A 2004 Lincoln being driven by Brandi L. Sullivan, 19 of Belfast, was operating southbound on SR 19 at approximately 8:45 p.m. when the vehicle drifted off the west shoulder, struck a guardrail end and traveled along an embankment before sliding sideways and striking a tree on the passenger side. Sullivan, front seat passenger Blake D. Cooper, 19, and rear the driver seat passenger Tyson C. Logue, 19 both also of Belfast, all sustained minor injuries and were transported by Belfast Ambulance and Houghton Ambulance to Jones Memorial Hospital in Wellsville, where they were treated and released.

The second back seat passenger, Anthony R. Logue, 39 of Shinglehouse, Pa, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene by Allegany County Coroner Ted Crowell. The deceased was removed to the Monroe County Medical Examiner pending an autopsy. The accident was reconstructed by the New York State Police Collision Reconstruction Unit (CRU).

The cause of the accident is still pending investigation.

The State Police were assisted at the scene by the Allegany County Sheriff’s Dept., Allegany County Office of Emergency Services, Oramel Fire Department, Belfast Fire Department and Medical Transport Services Medic 700.
