EAST OTTO — A 51-year-old Randolph man was charged Thursday with aggravated driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop on East Otto Road.
According to New York State Police, James R. Eberle Jr was involved in a hit-and-run accident around 9:20 p.m. When police caught up with him, they determined him to be intoxicated. He was taken to the Machias Troopers’ barracks where he was found to have a .16 blood alcohol content.
Eberle is slated to appear in the Town of Machias Court in July.
