The National Weather Service calls for sunny skies today with a high near 86. Tonight, there’s a chance of showers and thunderstorms with a low around 71.

The State Dept. of Environmental Conservation has issued an air quality alert for the greater-Buffalo area from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Elevated ozone levels may cause difficulty breathing outdoors, especially for those with pre-existing respiratory problems.

Monday will be clearing with a high near 76 and a low around 62. A chance of showers returns overnight. Tuesday calls for a chance of showers and thunderstorms with a high near 72 and a low around 57. Wednesday will be mostly sunny with a high near 74 and a low around 56.

Thursday: Sunny with a high near 78 and a low around 60. Friday, there’s a chance of showers and thunderstorms with a high near 77 and a low around 62. Saturday, there’s a chance of more showers and thunderstorms with a high near 76.
