BUFFALO — Providence Social is officially going to the dogs. For tonight, at least.

The “hidden gem of the west side” always has a dog-friendly patio, but tonight — and the last Sunday of the next three months — the bar and restaurant will be hosting “Dog Days of Summer” from 5 – 9 p.m.

“We invite all our well-behaved owners and responsible pets to enjoy a night on our patio,” says Providence Social’s Facebook event page. “All legal libations will be served with a special guest bartender, along with clams and dogs on the grill and special treats for our four-legged friends.”

A portion of proceeds from Dog Days will be donated to Buffalo C.A.R.E.S. Animal Rescue.

Other Dog Days dates are July 31, Aug. 28, and Sept. 25.
