BATAVIA — A 29-year-old Rochster man was charged with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop on ST-33.
According to New York State Police, Joseph R. Powell was stopped for crossing into oncoming traffic. Powell was transported to SP-Batavia where he submitted to a positive breath test resulting in a .10 percent blood alcohol content.
Powell was processed for the driving while intoxicated and released with traffic tickets returnable to the Town of Batavia Court on a later date.
