GENESEO — Buffalo State concluded its 2016 season today at the SUNYAC Championships hosted by Geneseo at Letchworth State Park, placing 11 points ahead of Potsdam for ninth of 10 teams.

Freshman Kevin Murnock (East Aurora/East Aurora) led Buffalo State over the 8K course with a time of 27:44, good for 56th of 114 runners. Mitch Rabold (Amherst/Sweet Home) was the next Bengal finisher, placing 70th in 28:13. Phil Giuga (Tonawanda/Tonawanda) and Benaleo Daniels (Binghamton/Binghamton) placed 88th (29:32), and 91st (29:51) respectively, and Greg Avila-Shah (Lewiston/Lewiston-Porter) completed the Bengals’ scoring in 100th (30:40).

Buffalo State’s runners will now shift their focus to indoor track & field.
