On June 18, 2020, SP Amity Troopers arrested Jason A. Merrill, 38, of Amity, NY for Menacing 2nd Degree.
Troopers investigating a report of a Merrill threatening another party with a gun near a residence on Irons Road in the town of Amity determined Merrill had fired a BB pistol outside that residence while yelling at that party.
Merrill was arrested and released with an appearance ticket for Amity Town Court, where he is due to appear in July.
