Instrumentalist Felix Martin dropped two songs inspired by Latin music fused with his instrumental metal style. It’s another beautiful release by the double guitar tapping phenom, mixing many styles of music. It’s eclectic as expected with some heavy parts, and very fun. Martin succeeds at all of this with his band and further pushing his sound and style.

Felix states:

“I’m excited to announce our new single “Oni Kid 33” It starts with latin / salsa bass lines, then goes to some sort of glitch / electronic metal vibe. Lots of melodies and riffs. We hope you like it!” says Felix.

“Oni Kid is a journey that takes you somewhere. As the song unfolds, it constantly evolves, moving through ballad-inspired sections, moments influenced by Latin rhythms, and powerful rock passages. We’ve packed it with layers and creative sonic details, making every listen feel a little different. In my opinion, it’s the kind of track that rewards repeated listening, revealing new textures, sounds, and hidden moments each time you come back to it.” Says Moises D Bello (mixer / mastering engineer)

The artwork are anime characters designed by Felix Martin for the latest album “The Gathering” (2024).

The video was filmed in downtown Los Angeles and features LA-based musicians Nic Kubes on drums and Joan Torres on 10-string bass. The track was mixed and mastered by Moises D Bello.
