Hello Metalheads! This is John back with another single highlight piece. Embodiment dropped their latest single called Beneath the Skin on June 19th, 2026. They also announced the new EP Crytomorph, which is coming out on July 24th, 2026!
Beneath the Skin is such a contrasting track for Embodiment. They kept their tech death origins, but almost have this melodic death metal under tone with a perfect metalcore-esque chorus. I really enjoy the clean vocals a lot! The technicality is ever present in during the blisteringly fast verse sections.
I really can’t wait to hear what Embodiment have cooked up for the other two tracks on their EP. Another track that will be on the EP that is already released is Jeopardy in Idolatry, that one rips too! Go check out this new track and let the band know what you think on their pages!
