Patricia A. Galante, 74, of Rochester, NY, formerly of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away unexpectedly on May 23, 2025, in Pittsford, NY as the result of a vehicular accident. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Marino and Elizabeth (Perno) Galante.
Patricia was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School, and later earned her Bachelor’s degree from SUNY Fredonia in Education. She was employed with the Unemployment Office in Niagara Falls, NY before moving to Rochester and working with the Motor Vehicles Department as well as assisting a Judge in Rochester Traffic Court. Patricia was very involved with her church, enjoyed gardening, taking care of her cats, and served on the board of the Focus Pregnancy Help Center for many years.
Patricia is survived by her siblings, Janice (late Ronald) Bochenek and Michael (Cathy) Galante, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Private funeral services and interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY, will be held for Patricia’s family.
