Anthony Troisi, 75, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away peacefully on April 20, 2025, at the age of 75 after an extended illness at Our Lady of Peace Nursing Care Residence in Lewiston, NY. Nicknamed “Tro,” he was born to the late Anthony and Phoebe (Cosentino) Troisi on November 27, 1949. Tony was the beloved husband of Andrea (Skivington) Troisi, who he married on July 17, 1976, at St. John de LaSalle Church.

Tony graduated from LaSalle Senior High School in 1967 and later earned his Associate’s degree from Niagara County Community College. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from 1967 to 1971. Upon returning home, he began working at Grand Island Biological Company. He owned and operated Tro’s Tavern on Buffalo Ave, and later became partner in Field’s Bar on Third St. and Babe’s on Main St, all in Niagara Falls. Tro worked as a car salesman at Gambino Ford and Fucillo Chevrolet for several years prior to his illness forcing his retirement.

Tony was a coach for his son’s Little League Team and served on the Board of Directors for the LaSalle Little League. Tony also volunteered at St. John de LaSalle School, where his son Joseph attended in his younger years, and also assisted with fundraising events for the parish.

Tony enjoyed socializing with his friends and family. He also loved playing cards, bowling and was a passionate fan of the New York Yankees. In addition, he was a collector of sports cards and memorabilia.  He will be sadly missed by his friends and family.

Anthony is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Andrea Troisi, and was sadly predeceased by his beloved son, Joseph Troisi, on May 7, 2024. He is also survived by his sisters, Linda Sawyer of Maine and Mary Jo Neri of Lewiston. He was the brother-in-law of Mark Sawyer, Joel Neri, Rebecca and Stephen Kassay, Noreen Skivington, Janis and Philip Alterio, and Howard and Pamela Skivington. Tony is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 24, from 9:30 to 10:15 AM at M.J. Colucci & Son Niagara Funeral Chapel, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will follow at 10:15 AM with procession to follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Niagara Falls, NY, concluding with Military honors.
