BUFFALO, N.Y.— Ronni Kordrupel (East Aurora/Iroquois) appeared to be in championship form, shattering her own school record in the final tune-up meet before the SUNYAC Championships, placing fourth in the 5K Canisius College Alumni Classic today at Delaware Park.

  • Kordrupel broke her own 5K record she set earlier this season, shaving 20 seconds with a time of 18:19 to finish fourth, only behind three Division I runners, in the 120-runner field.
  • Olivia Ryan (Manlius/Fayetteville-Manlius) crossed next for the Bengals, placing 41st with a time of 20:16.
  • Kassidy Manke (Buffalo/Kenmore West) was next for Buffalo State in 60th (20:41).
  • Clara Sensini (Kingston/Kingston) and Jaclyn Tedesco (Cheektowaga/Cleveland Hill) completed the Bengals’ scoring, finishing 84th and 85th respectively with matching times of 21:23.
