Lloyd W. Gerstung entered into eternal rest on November 7th, 2018.  He was born on November 25th, 1930 in Buffalo, NY to G. Walter and Clara (Hagar) Gerstung.  He was a 1949 graduate of Lockport High School, and studied engineering at General Motors Institute and the University of Buffalo.  Lloyd was in the United States Air Force for 4 years during the Korean War.  He worked 6 years at the Lockport Felt Company and 2 years at S.B. Whistler Company.  Lloyd worked at Harrison Radiator as a Senior Industrial Engineer before retiring after 30 years.

Lloyd was married to Judy (Beck) Gerstung for 52 years until her passing in 2015.  He leaves behind his son Scott and his wife Kristen, along with his sister-in-law Janice and late Rolf Brynilsen.  Brother of the late Geoffrey (Rebecca), and the late Barbara (late Bill) Moran.  Nieces Beth (Barry) Scott, Karen (James) Anstey, nephews Paul (Deborah) Moran, and Gregory Gerstung.  Great nieces Elise Millard, Karissa Anstey, Hattie and Annabelle Moran, and great nephew Colton Anstey.

Lloyd enjoyed racing formula cars with SCCA, and worked timing and scoring at Watkins Glen for 22 years.  He rode motorcycles for over 60 years, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, canoeing, and kayaking in the Adirondacks.  He and Judy were members of Club 60 dancing for 30 years.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.  Inurnment will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Buffalo.
