2000’s Cannibal Corpse worshippers Infinite Misery dropped an awesome new song recently titled “Brain Matter Asphyxiation”. Just like Gruesome (who I love) I think it’s utterly important for death metal to keep its grandfathers around somehow. New generations are ushered in and need to be taught of legacy bands like Death, its influence and style. Now, we’ve had one for Cannibal Corpse and the songs are amazing. This new one is no different and hits hard. The outro groove is “Scourge of Iron” esque. The vocals, rhythms and guitar solo is on point for this era of Cannibal Corpse. Infinite Misery is so solid I’m always stoked to check out what new music they release. The Corpse worship is obvious especially with the artwork. We have Gruesome, Left to Die and Death to All. Now, Infinite Misery for Cannibal Corpse. All hail death metal.
