Jack J. Vail, 82, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on June 8, 2025 at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center. Born in Utica, NY, he was the son of the late Elizabeth (Geer) (George) Stein.
Jack graduated from High School in Utica, NY. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War until his honorable discharge in 1966. Jack was employed at Great Lakes Carbon in Niagara Falls, NY for 40 years, retiring in 2005. After retirement, he worked as a senior customer service rep at Westwood Country Club, River Oaks Country Club and Hickory Stick. Jack was a member of the American Legion LaSalle Post. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed bowling in leagues, and hunting deer and bear.
Jack is survived by his wife Bozena J. (Seczkowska) Vail, his children, Jefferson (Coleen) Vail, Joyanne Vail and Jason Vail, six grandchildren and his sister, Ferne (Fran) Kline as well as many nieces and nephews living across the east coast states.
