Danny K. “Rebel” Moody, 76, of Niagara Falls, New York, and formerly of North Carolina, passed away on March 20, 2025 in Elderwood at Wheatfield. Born April 25, 1948, in Waynesville, NC, he was the son of the late Hilliard and Mary (Davis) Moody.
Dan was raised in North Carolina where he attended local schools and later moved to Niagara Falls. For many years, he worked at Harrison Radiator in Lockport, NY, where he met his future wife, Henrietta (Andrews. They were later married in August 18, 2001.
Dan was a dedicated member of the John Duke Senior Center. He enjoyed playing cards, woodworking, going to the casino and watching classic western shows. He also was an avid fan of the Miami Dolphins. Above all, he cherished the time spent with his family.
In addition to his wife, Henrietta, he is survived by his children, Michael D. (Amy) Moody, Thomas P. (Jamie) Andrews, Joseph M. (Renee) Andrews; his daughters-in-law, Jantel A. (Jeff) Andrews and Doreen Pope; his grandchildren, Joanna Moody, Matthew Moody, Angel Moody, Anna Andrews and Zoe Andrews; his siblings Charles W. Aiken and Sandra Rhodes, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by one brother, Larry Moody.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 23 from 12 – 3 PM at M.J. Colucci & Son Niagara Funeral Chapel, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY. Private services and interment will take place in Mt.
