Michael P. Orsi, Sr., 81, of North Tonawanda, NY, passed away on March 7, 2025, at DeGraff Memorial Hospital in North Tonawanda, NY. Born in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Joseph and Marie (Adoulf) Orsi.
Michael was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School. He served proudly in the Army National Guard in 1966. On April 30, 1966, he married Carol L. (Zankowski) Orsi at the former Our Lady of the Rosary Church in Niagara Falls, NY. Michael was employed for 38 years as a clerk for Conrail in Niagara Falls, NY until his retirement in 2003.
Michael took great pride in keeping himself in great physical shape. An avid workout enthusiast, he exercised daily at Crunch Fitness and rode his bike daily as well. Michael also enjoyed gardening, camping, tending to plants, and was a fervent fan of the Dallas Cowboys. More than anything else, however, Michael treasured the time he spent with his family, especially celebrating a special occasion or holiday, where he was the life of the party. He lived and loved life to the fullest, and was always happiest when he was having fun with those he loved and cherished.
In addition to his wife of 58 years, Michael is survived by his children, Cynthia M. Orsi, Karen L. Davis, and Michael P. (Lynda) Orsi, Jr.; his grandchildren, Kiarra Patterson, Michael A. Orsi, Samantha Orsi, Brandon Davis, Hayley Antonacci, Evan Orsi, and Ayden Antonacci; his brothers, David (Janice) Orsi and Arthur Orsi, as well as by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings, Joseph (late Anne) Orsi, Julie (late Walter) Paglia, Larry (late Veda) Orsi, and Kathy Orsi.
